In 2073 you will need your temperature regulated suit
Our third deep dive into the past, present, and future of wearable technologies.

After exploring the evolution of wearable tech, from 18th-century glasses to AI-integrated coats, let's go on a journey through two potential futures. Both are set in the not-so-distant future and contemplate the impact of climate change and life amidst fluctuating temperatures. The first scenario delves into urban living and labor on Earth, while the second explores space tourism and leisure on Mars. It's your call to decide which scenario might be utopian and which could be dystopian.
Scenario 1: Technological Symbiosis in a Changing Climate
It's a warm and humid evening in 2073, and you're walking into the heart of a modern metropolis. Building stretch skyward, towering and vertical, as data centers no longer lurk in the shadows but stand prominently, beating like hearts amidst the steel and concrete.
The air is alive with a gentle hum, a symphony of servers that orchestrate the city's digital pulse. You are passing a server hub. The glow from countless LEDs bathes you in a soft, electric pink as you step into the central hub of operations, a space where the future of work has been reimagined.
Around you, the night shift is in full swing, with humans and their robotic dog companions moving with focus and grace. Workers are dressed in ultra-lightweight, tailored garments that seamlessly mold to their form, engineered for superb breathability and temperature control. These garments offer a cooling comfort that makes it possible for them to work even in the most challenging conditions.
Even the robotic dogs are wearing their own high-tech attire, cool to the touch, designed to protect and serve alongside their human counterparts. Together, they move through aisles of servers. You can almost feel the coolness emanating from their suits, a stark contrast to the latent warmth of the machines. Technology and humanity have become solidly linked, co-evolving in a dance of survival and innovation.
