Digital Skin
The term "digital skin" is predominantly used within the virtual world community. It refers to the appearance and customization of digital characters or avatars.
In the gaming world, we use the term "skin" to provide an official vocabulary for the digital appearance of characters.
Gamers don't refer to it as digital fashion or digital garments; instead, it's simply called "skin" because it becomes a part of the character's body within the game.
