Three months into Unfolding NEW PATTERNS and I feel like I need to thank you
A love letter to everyone who reads and supports our newsletter.
I want to take a moment to extend my warmest thanks to all who contribute to this newsletter's success. I deeply appreciate your subscriptions, shares, and feedback. A special shoutout goes to those who have opted for the paid subscription – your support means the world to me.
I decided to transition the Unfolding Strategies email-only newsletter format to Substack because I felt that it simply wasn't enough. I noticed high engagement, with readers regularly opening and engaging with our insights, updates, reading lists, and podcasts. However, not being able to access past newsletters and foster interaction was a significant limitation. Additionally, I was constantly wondering how to sustain free educational content without relying on brand partnerships.
The initial three months were a crucial test for me. I questioned whether I could write consistently and if there would be an audience for it. The response has been nothing short of overwhelming. Every week I am surprised to discover how many new subscribers joined. Starting February 1st, the newsletter and archive will be fully accessible to paying subscribers, with 50% of the posts, including podcasts, available to everyone.

My aspiration is that this newsletter continues to be a source of information and inspiration for you. More importantly, I hope it ignites critical thinking and guides digital innovation in fashion toward more equitable, diverse, and sustainable paths.
I didn't start this newsletter merely to applaud certain solutions or practices. I don’t think of tech as a solution. What I see is a substantial gap in knowledge and an opportunity to imagine and design the future of fashion and creative industries differently. And by differently, I mean better. Considering how low the standards are now, it shouldn’t be that hard, if not necessary.
So once again, thank you so much for being here. If there's anything you like, dislike, or want to see more of in the future, please let me know.
Warmly,
Beata
